Silicon pure metal has a very high melting point of 1400 degree celsius. An Aluminium Silicon alloy of varying concentration of Silicon from 20% to 50% offers a very efficient means of adding Silicon to the alloy. This reduces the melt time and ensures complete Silicon recovery through low energy consumption.
