Aluminium is 100% recyclable and therefore it’s lifecycle is referred to as ‘cradle to cradle’. More than a third of the aluminium produced today is from aluminium scrap. The cost of recycling aluminium is very less compared to the cost of producing primary/virgin metal. It takes only about 5% energy and emits only 5% greenhouse gases in comparison to primary metal.

A third of today’s copper is from recycled copper. Copper scrap from manufacturing processes is of high purity. High quality, segregated copper scrap can be recycled to produce industry standard products at a reduced cost. Copper scrap is graded into different types depending upon its composition.
